Today is my birthday. It is amazing how fast things change. It was not too long ago that my birthday meant count down to the day, all day and night drinking contests and generally anything that was all about me. I use to treat my birthday like it was a national holiday. Well, not so much even more. Want to know two very bright highlights from my day? Number 1, Braylon taking a three hour nap all by himself! I did not know what to do with myself. Of course, I would have bouts of worry. After that long asleep, one starts to think their kid could not be breathing, or that someone snuck into the second story of your house and took just them without making a single sound or alarming the dogs. It could happen! Number 2 highlight was I got to take a bath ALL by myself. I am not sure when the last time this happened. It was so nice to just relax.
life has really charged when the best birthday gift you can get is a kid taking a nice long nap and allowing you to have some quality me time!
Oh and this mornng we woke up to six inches of snow! It was so beautiful. I really wanted to take Braylon out to play but all we have is a snow coat. I did not want him to get a cold. All I need is a sick baby!
