Corrales Twinkle Light Parade

Tonight we were invited by Melinda and Morgan (Sarah, Elijah and Audrey were there too!) to watch the Twinkle Parade in Corrales. I love small town parades! They are unique and over flowing with spunk and character. All of the floats were pulled by tractors tonight. How cute! Since the forecast was for snow we bundled up and headed down.

*Sorry some of the photos are a little blurry. Taking night photos of lights requires no flash but I kept forgetting to turn it back on when I went to take photos of people!

Braylon with Daddy waiting for the parade to get rolling!

 With Mommy too.

Braylon was not having it in his stroller at all! So I held him for the group shot. Can you see me trying to hide? I do not blend in well that is for sure.
 Babies and their mommies.
Braylon loved the lights. He snuggled with Daddy and watch every single float pass by us.
I am pretty sure this was his favorite. The fire engine. It was decorated way too cute and was laying 'merry Christmas' as it drove by us.

Most of the floats threw candy out at the crowd. However, it was quite dark and the random candy hitting you was a little alarming. I really wanted the candy, even risked life and limb to get a now and later. I am not really sure where I even put them.

After the parade was over, it starting snowing! It was so perfect. And we loaded up the cars and headed over to the bon fire and smore making!

Braylon and daddy roasted a marshmallow and Braylon got to enjoy it! He only ate about half it cus the rest was on his face!
Sarah and I then "stole" a marshmallow roaster and I swear we roasted our weight in marshmallows. We kept that thing hostage for a good thirty minutes! Little kids were begging us to please let them join in on the fun. Nope, it is only for us :)

 Look at that fire!
Like father, like son. I think Braylon has a love for fire.
This was an attempt to get another kid group picture. Major fail.

Finally a family photo. Braylon was so cold, I think at this point he just wanted to eat dinner already.

So after one more look at the fire, we all headed over to Dion's for dinner. It was perfect. The food was great and the kids can be as loud and messy as the please!

It was such a great night! I am really enjoying being able to experience this holiday season with my little man. He is in awe of every new thing I show him!
