Seven Months!

Braylon is on the downhill slide to one. I am shocked! He is becoming such a big boy. In the past month he has been eating a lot more solids and has even taken to eating some of our food with us. He gets pieces of bread and Greek yogurt. Braylon LOVES Greek yogurt. Colin and I usually have one a day and when he sees the container he sits with his mouth open like a little bird waiting for us to give him some. Yesterday, he even signed 'more' to me when I was having mine. That is amazing to me because we only started teaching him sign language two or so weeks ago. And I read that babies usually will not sign back until nine months. But not this little boy. When it comes to food, he is a quick learner. We are also teaching him the signs for eat, milk, mommy and daddy. He has yet to do those, but when we sign them to him he get excited like he knows what the outcome is going to be. I doubt he will ever sign milk because he seems to have taken a liking to climbing on me and pulling down my top and latching himself on. What can I say it looks like he is one smart boy.  He still loves sweet potatoes. I have been making them into thick fries shapes and baking them. He devours them. He is also a big fan of avocados. Currently, he is eating to meals a day of baby food and some snacks of puffs, mum mums and teething crackers. Yet without fail he wants to nurse after every times he eats big boy food.

At seven months he is in size three diapers and still wearing 6-9 month clothes. Though it looks like in pants we may have to go up to 9-12 months. The waist bad seems a little tight on his growing budda belly. He is not crawling yet but that does not mean that he is not mobile by any means. He rolls and this turns on his belly, grabs what he wants and pulls himself closer and then repeats the process. It is really impressive. He gets very upset with you if you move him away from the area it took him so long to get into. He still only has two little bottom teeth, though I think the top ones are in the works. Even when teething he is still a very happy baby and I get told that every time we are out.

I got braylon this new toy for Easter and I just had to give it to him early.
Scout is from LeapFrog. You connect him to you computer and put in your child's name and then can put in their favorite color, animal and food. You can also customize the songs that are played on the music paw and sleep paw. Braylon loves it! An additional plus is that it is only 20 dollars. That is a great price for an toy that does so much. LeapFrog also has a violet for little girls. Get one, you will not be disappointed.

So I guess I should reward you with some photos for making it through my entire ramble of how great my seven month old son is....

It was a little sunny today and these are not the best pictures. I am going to try to get some different ones in the next few days to make up for this. I am sorry.
