Big Boy Carseat

Yesterday, we bought Braylon his convertible car seat. I have been looking at which one to get for awhile, knowing that he was getting close to being through the infant seat. His infant seat works for babies up to 32 inches and 35 pounds. Now Braylon is not anywhere close to 35 pounds. In fact I weighed him with me this morning and he is roughly only 18 pounds. The thing about this seat is that I have stopped bringing it in the house. It is way to heavy for me to carry with him already placed in the seat. I also have bruises up and down my legs from resting the seat on them or from it hitting them when I do try to carry it. Braylon never stays asleep in the seat and when we go places he is in his carrier on me or in the stroller. At restaurants he can sit in highchairs all by himself. We really have no need to bring the infant seat with use ever. So off to Babies R Us we went yesterday just to look. They are having a 20% off on all car seats, which NEVER happens, so I wanted to take advantage of that. We found a few that we liked and luckily the staff there allows you to take the seats on display to your car to see if they will even fit. Braylons infant seat is a little sung in mine and Colin's car so we were a little concerned with how this new and seemly bigger seat would do. Well, it fit perfectly. Even better than the infant seat.

Here is what we went with,
So far he seems to really like the seat and he has a lot more room to stretch his body out. Lets cross our fingers that he continues to like it.
