Gymboree

Today I took Braylon to his first (and mine too) Gymboree class. I have heard beyond great things about the classes that we just had to give it a shot. They have classes that begin at birth but I wanted to wait until he could interact more. So today we went to the six to ten months music and play class. There was six kids in the class, three boys and three girls, Braylon was the youngest in the class. He did great. Particularly he LOVE when we played peak-a-boo with the giant parachute and when it was bubble time. The bubbles stuck to his nose and eye lashes. It was too cute. I however made the mistake of not feeding him right before class. He had fallen asleep on Colin and I woke him just in time for a diaper change and to get in his car seat. I totally spaced on filling up his tummy (bad mommy!). He was a little fussy but not to bad. Mostly, he just wanted to be held. We are going to be going every Thursday and Saturday and so when we go on Thursday morning I will fill him up in the parking lot to ensure that this does not happen! Unfortunately, I did not have the chance to take any pictures of him. I know, I know how sad. I will try to get some when we go this week to share with you all.

In other news, I got Braylon some Humphrey's teething tablets (through the recommendations of many). Up until now we have been bearing through it and giving him a little bit of Tylenol when it got bad. It was getting to the point to where I wanted to give him Tylenol all the time. So instead of loading him up on that we got the tablets. Well, they work wonderful. I felt like I had a different baby, a non teeth baby! We also got Braylon a mesh feeder. I have been wanting to try this for four months and this evening we finally got to. For those of you who do not know what I am referring to it is a mesh bag connected to handle that food can be put in. Then it can be chewed and sucked on and not worries of chunks or skin making it through. Tonight I put a cold piece of a peach in there. It was fun to see Braylon try to figure out what to do. He has only had liquids and purees, no chewing yet.

All in all it was a great day!
