Day 1: Intro, recent picture and 15 interesting facts...

My name is Brittany and I am the sole writer of this blog. I am currently living in New Mexico but was born and raised in California, so I end up traveling there a lot. I am 26 years old and in September of 2010 I had my first child Braylon. For the time being I am staying at home with him. I never thought in a million years that I would love being a stay at home mom but atlas I do. In December of 2010 I received my masters from the University of New Mexico in Political Science. While I am looking for jobs I am not in a hurry and I am trying to wait until September to become a member of the work force.

**The pictures are with Bryalon. The last time either me or Colin took an alone picture was when I was 34 weeks pregnant and no one wants to see that. But I am sure you will not mind seeing three pictures of Braylon.

Me

Since I wirte a lot about two other peple I will introduce you to them to. Colin is Braylon's father and he is 27 years old. We dated for about four years, were engaged for one of those but ended things in May 2009. Well, things happened and ended up pregnant. Colin got his paramedic lisence in Januaray of 2011 and is currently working as a paramedic and searching for a job with a fire department. He is from Arizona so we travel to see his family there too.

And of course there is Braylon, the center of this blog and my life. He is currently 6 months old and changing so much each and everyday. This blog was for the purpose of keeping family members everywhere up to date on the happenings of his life.

15 interesting facts.
**Sorry if some of these are boring, I am not very interesting.
1. I am the second oldest of five children and I want to have have five kids too.
2. I LOVED every minute of being pregnant and wanted to do it again as soon as Braylon came out.
3. I LOVED my labor (and it was not an easy one).
4. I have a masters degree but want more. I think my career in life is going to be degree collector.
5. When I was little I wanted to be President of the US and I still do.
6. I love politics and I break the rule and discuss it with everyone I met.
7. I have very strong opinions and will ague til blue in the face about them.
8. I tell it how it is and have a problem of never sugar coating anything.
9. I talk about my dad as if he is still here (passed in May 2008) and will continue to do so for the rest of my life.
10. I love to talk. My parents use to say that they never had to worry about me getting kidnapped because I would talk so much they would return me so fast.
11. I am very shy in new settings. Some people think I am stuck up or a b*tch because of it. (I can be both of those).
12. I HATE to travel. I am a creature of habit and my schedule and hate to have it altered. I also am terrified of flying yet I do it 8+ times a year.
13. I love American history, especially anything about the founding fathers and Abraham Lincoln (he is my favorite).
14. I love to learn. My favorite days in school were the days when you got to register for the next semesters classes. Ahh how I miss that.
15. I am a huge advocate for social issues and social equality in the US and the world.
