The past few days have been slow ans relaxing. Not much exciting has taken place but I have gotten some important cleaning done. For some reason I love to clean, but since having Braylon it has taken way more energy to get things done. I am not able to do a whole house clean in one attempt. It now takes me multiple attempts and only working on one room at a time. Today, I got the living room, kitchen and kitchen cabinets and bathroom. I feel so accomplished. I hate clutter but I am coming to grips with the reality that since having a baby my house will be messy most of the time he is awake. It has been nice having nothing to get done but that is about to change. Tomorrow we have Gymboree and then a play date with our Gymboree friends Meredith and Izzy. On Saturday we are going to the wine festival with Carmen, Brook, Scarlett and Amelia. Saturday night Colin and I are going to one of his friends weddings. This should be fun because we have not been out together, alone, since Braylon was born. i know, eight months! It has been forever. Things should slow down until next Wednesday when we have another play date. I have been trying to have at least one a week and it seems to be working out well. Oh and this weekend we will be regersting for baby swim lessons. Yes I am going to have the kid that is in every sport and activity. Got to keep him busy and growing. Once he tells me he does not want to do something or if he no longer likes it then he can withdrawal. I will not pressure him to do something he does not want to. Busy, Busy.
In other baby related news Braylon pulled up on the coffee table today for the first time. He is moving all over the place and babbling away while he plays. It is too cute! I love the little personality he is getting. I have to say I have the cutest kid (okay I may be biased but we do get this compliment EVERY.TIME we are out!). He is so funny! Oh so call me crazy but I am already starting the plans for Bryalon's first birthday party. I have activities planned, the theme picked out, cake and cupcakes decided on. Let me just say it is going to be one big party. I am going all out for this one. I am just in awe with how fast this one is approaching!
