I am slowly learning that Braylon is not going to do one thing for awhile and then develop further. He is going to do a million new things one day and then a million new ones the next. On Thursday night I noticed that he was getting a top center tooth in, his left fang is still not all the way in. Well, last night we could tell that his center left tooth is moments away from breaking through the gums. Yesterday he started to crawl on his knees and forearms, man that little bug is a fast one. It will be days until his shoulders are strong enough to support his weight and he will be speed racer on hands and knees. He is also pulling up on everything. This creates a problem because most things are lighter than his pull and things end up on top of him. I guess this is just the beginning of the many bumps and bruises this little boy is going to get. He is also taking steps to go from holding on to one thing to another. Now this is not like a 'real' step but more like a pivot step. We have this leapfrog table...
And Braylon will go from standing with the table to taking a pivot and step to hold on to the couch and then back tot the table once again. He will be walking along the couch and the coffee table in no time at all. Early this morning Braylon did another thing. He went from laying down to sitting up. I knew this was coming very soon. In the mornings we spend some time laying in bed for a little before getting up. It takes me forever to fully wake up. He has been doing the sit up for the past few days while playing in the bed. Well, this morning I was doing the dishes and making coffee and Braylon was playing with his toys. When I left him he was laying on the ground and when I came back he was sitting up reading (chewing) on one of his plastic books. I was shocked! He is getting too strong.
In other news, Braylon has been here for 36 weeks. He has been here for as long as I was pregnant. I feel like I was pregnant for a very long time and that he has been here for such a short period. When I figured this out it kind of shocked me. Where is my little baby? While I miss my tiny little guy, I do have to say that I am really enjoying him and love experiencing the world with him.
On the agenda for today... We are going to attempt to sign up for swim lessons. They opened awhile ago and I hear they fill up fast, so we shall see.
