Braylon has a new favorite game: Follow the Leader, and I am the leader. Braylon follows me everywhere! It is not so much a separation thing but rather he wants to do whatever I am doing. For instance, I go to the kitchen to make dinner or do the dishes and my shadow is always right under me! The other day he chased me around the house. In addition to the following me around he has begun mimicking my actions. Today, Btaylon and I went to the duck pond to feed some duckies. I knew that this was going to more of an activity for me, but Braylon did something that surprised me. Braylon started to copy me and ripped off a piece of bread and threw it. Now his throwing was more of a drop, but still he was throwing bread to the duck/birds. He was giggling the whole time!

After some feeding of the ducks we walked around the pond.

| The pretty pond. |
 |
| Turtles taking a sun bath! |
 |
| Pretty white ducks! |
 |
| And a water fall. |
I really wanted to put our toes in the water but it had a nasty green color and I was not sure what was living in the pond. Braylon loved every minute of our little outing. He watched all of people and animals. He giggled and talked to them. He even tried to walk (holding my hands of course) to get closer to his new feathered friends. I think he wanted to play with them and was disappointed when he realized his body was holding him back.
Braylon is learning so much every day and it is amazing to watch the world through his eyes! We will have to make a trip to the duck pond again in the near future!
Is that UNM's duck pond?
ReplyDeleteYeah. It looks like they have not cleaned it in years!
