Busy Busy Bee

Braylon has been one busy nine month old. On Monday we started swim lessons. Now I know what some of you are thinking 'why on earth would a nine month old need swim lessons?'. Well, let me tell you these lessons are more for me. They are giving me guidance on some things to do with Braylon in the pool. The class we are taking is for parents and tots, so there are a good amount of older children in his class. In fact Braylon and our friend Annabelle are the youngest in the class bu nine months. It is fine by me because Braylon has a blast in the pool and he keeps up with everyone else fairly well. Our class is everyday for two weeks!
"Mom! Let's get moving to swim lessons!"

On top of swimming everyday we have been going to the pool in Corrales too. We go and meet our friends Audrey and Tanner to play in the water some more. The Corrales pool has a beach entrance where it goes from zero ft all the way out the the deep end. About a third of the pool is under three feet deep and about two-thirds of the pool is four feet or shallower. The kids LOVE this because they can sit in deep water (okay deep for their standards) and watch the big kids play. Some big kids ever come up and play with them, which all three of them LOVE! The pool also has this play thing in the middle that has water dirpping off of it and things to climb on. Needless to say the kids, and parents, have a blast. It has quickly become our new favorite pool!

All of this water and fun in the sun has lead to some pretty epic naps. Mommy approves of long and deep naps!
This is what sleeping like a BABY means...

  1. We are having a blast going to the pool! And yes, all your photos from 2010 don't even show up in your blog entrances. Weird. Something crazy is going on! See you this afternoon!
