Tea

Today, Catherine, Braylon and I went to afternoon tea at the St. James Tea room. This was my second time enjoying tea there. I went with Catherine, her mom, grandmother and aunt for her graduation and birthday in June of this past year. I have to say I love this place. It is everything that is great about being a girl. We dress up, get to wear great hats, eat amazing tea foods and drink some of the most decadent tea. Today, Catherine took Braylon and I there to celebrate a belated birthday to me and a welcome to the world Braylon. I enjoyed what would most likely be the first and last tea with Braylon. I doubt as he gets older he will sit the two hours through this. And lets face it as he gets older he is going to think its lame and girlie. So today I relished this sweet time with my best friend Catherine and my little boy. The place has a set menu of three teas and then three different servings of snacks. The menu changes every month. Today, when had the champagne tea (where you get a glass of champagne) and we even had another pot of tea. The two hours flew by and we had a blast. Braylon passed out before the first tea was even served and slept next to me for most of the afternoon.
