Wine and Rice: Friends

I have been blessed in my life with some long friendships. In Fresno I have some friends that I have known for 13 years. While visiting family I always make sure that I visit my friends. My friends have been there for so much for me. We have been through our fair share of ups and downs and yet we all are always there for on another during the good and the bad. I am so lucky. I hope Braylon makes lifelong friends like this too. They have become a second family to me.

I always make a point to get together with my friend Sarah. She has three girls, including Braylon future wife Adelyn. Sarah and I went to dinner and she brought her three girls over to my moms when my niece was over for a play date. Sarah's middle daughter Aivery is a month older than my niece Mattie. That was a busy and exhausting day. Then on Thursday me and Braylon went to get a pedicure with a close friend of mine Faith. Faith and I have been friends since 7th grade. Braylon was so good and just sat there looking around while I got a little bit of pampering. On Friday there was a surprise birthday party for Sarah. A bunch of dance friends all showed up to wish Sarah a happy 25th birthday. Some of these girls I have know for 13 years! I cannot believe that we have remained friends for so long. Saturday afternoon I went to lunch with some of the dance girls again. This time I brought Braylon and everyone got to meet the little guy. Saturday afternoon my close friend Krystle came over with her son Sawyer who is 10 months for a little play date. I cannot believe how big he has gotten in the past four months! I had a busy schedule of catching up with friends. I love seeing them and I am so blessed to have had them in my life for so long!
