I am beyond relieved. Yesterday I flew into Fresno for my sisters baby shower that is tomorrow. I brought half of a suit case of diapers and clothes for her that Braylon no longer fits into. Well, while I was showing her stuff her dog decides to eat part of my pump. I was pissed! I pump every morning because Braylon does not eat everything I make. With no pump I was stressed that my supply would tank. I plan of exclusively breastfeeding until eighteen months and I need a strong supply to make it that long. So I urgently got online and ordered the part. I have an Ameda pump and most stores do not sell parts for it. I also decided to go to Babies R Us this morning to see if by some slim chance they sold what I need. Well they do!!! I bought those and cancelled my online order! I am so relieved to not have to stress about my supply! While we were out I was able to finish all of my last minute baby shower errands with a sleeping baby.
On a different note I am not sure I will ever do night flights again with Braylon. He was up through the whole flight and had no interest in eating to help his ears pop. However, he was a very good baby the whole flight. He was a ham the whole time and was talkative!
