First Haircut

Yep I finally did it. At almost 17 months Braylon got his first haircut. Now to be honest he has needed a trim for quite some time. I have been tucking hair behind his ear for what seems like months! And he had this tiny little rat tail on his neck of hair. But on the top of his head he still does not have much and looks bald in most spots. I mean he has only had hair really for the past four or five months. Anyway, i have been meaning to get the time to take him. He was just so shaggy.

It would look a lot more shaggy and messy if it was not so blond or fine.

So yesterday morning we headed over to this kids only hair cut place that my good friend Melinda had suggested. Tanner has been getting haircuts for a while now. And most places, except this one, have resulted in bad experiences. Oh and luckily this place is not even five minutes from the house. So we went in and Braylon settled right into the fire engine seat.

 He was such a good little boy. I was told over and over by the lady how good he was doing. No tears or cries at all! He just drove his engine and looked at himself in the mirror. He is NOT like his mommy at all! He let the lady use clippers and even the scissors on him! And in true big boy style he even got his hair shampooed and styled. Where has my little baby gone?!?!?

 When he was done he even got a sucker and a certificate for mommy. It had the date of his first hair cut and some locks of his hair.

Oh and I did not cry! I was surprised on that.
