18 months

Today Braylon is 18 months. How is it even possible?!?! I guess I will have to stop telling people that I just had a baby.

What is Braylon up to? Well everything. He is into exploring everything and doing it independently! He never wants any help. I love how independent he is but it can get frustrating when you are trying the rationally explain why he cannot walk int he street or cannot eat dog poop. Yep that is right. I caught him trying to stick a piece in his mouth. At least I caught him before it happen, well I think I did. Anyway, we having been having a BLAST with this little boy. He is so funny and surprises us some much each day. Last week I went to dinner with Colin's mom, Anne, the restaurant had a fish tank and Braylon walked right up and said fishy. Clear as day. I had no idea he knew that word! He is still jibber jabbing but says so many clear words. What can he say? Mama, Daddy, Coco, go, out, up, hi, bye, fishy, eyes, nose, thank you, nose, ball, bubble, juice, kisses, baby, dog, shoes, sock, bath, cracker, night night, book, eat, more. I am sure I am missing a lot but off the top of my head this is what he says regularly.

He understand so much. He will put things away if you ask him. He knows how to go bye bye. We say lets go bye bye and he tires to put his shoes on, put on his jacket and walks to the garage door. I am shocked daily on what he comprehends.

He still loves to be outside!

Oh and Braylon is a big boy! We have his well check next Friday but he stepped on the scale the other day and it was a whopping 26.5 pounds. I am wondering how tall. I feel like he is very tall. But we shall see.

I do not have any still posed photos, I am hoping to get some this weekend but here are a few cute ones.

Sitting at the table like a big boy having a snack.

Ah so cute.

Recently we have made some purchases for Braylon. Braylon has taken up a love for coloring and drawing. I have been looking for a table for him and it finally came. Wednesday night after Braylon went to bed, I set to work assembling it. I want to surprise him in the morning. So Thursday morning I bought him downstairs and showed him the table. He did the cutest thing. He got a huge smile and said 'Ah'. It made me want to call in sick to work so we could play all day.
We also got him a wagon. It is sitting on the living room floor in pieces. I think it is calling Colin's name... Tomorrow we are going to test it out at the Zoo. I am so excited!

Today, Braylon also had his Saint Patrick's Day party at school. So I took off work early and headed over to attend. Colin also came and he brought fire fighter hats for all the kids from the station. It was a hit, the kids loved them. I only have two pictures because I was taking pictures for his teacher. But these are still pretty cute.
Coloring while the food was getting ready.

Sitting down to eat.
After the party we headed home and relaxed before Colin had to head back to work for an overtime shift.

  1. I love the table! Where did you get it from? And their plates are full!! Audrey would have eaten like 3 bites. I hope you have a blast at the zoo!!

  2. I got it on Amazon for 99 and free shipping! The green part rolls out and is a drawer. Yeah he ate like two bites and was over it. We didn't go. Well we got there and there were a million people there so we went a park. I was not up to dealing with all those people, especially the ones who never seem to watch there kids there.
