This evening we met up with my good friend from graduate school, Angelina, to take some pictures for Braylon's first birthday. Of course given the chance we also got in some family shots since we do not have any recent ones. I came to the photo session prepared. We had balloons and a homemade smash cake.
I mean how cute. There was no way I could find a cake at the store this cute and in the colors of his birthday without having to pay an arm and leg for it. And lets face it, its purpose is to be destroyed to smithereens, so I would rather not have to pay too much. I think it turned out perfect. I may now just make his cake for his birthday.
Okay so here are the preview shots. Now I say preview because these were taken my me and Colin on our phones. They are not edited and are in no way professional. I will post the professional ones when they are done being edited.

I am so happy with the ones we got on our phones that I cannot wait for the professional ones to be ready! The shoot went better than I could have ever imagined. Oh and by the looks of this video I think my kid is very well prepared to smash another cake at his birthday party!
Oh and a cute video of him playing with the balloons.
My friend also got videos and she is going to edit those too. I cannot not wait to see the moments that she captured!
