Girls Night

Last night was a much needed night. For the first time in six months we had a true girls night with no babies and no men. Well there were men, just not ours :) Last night Melinda and I took our other friend Sarah out for here birthday. Her birthday is not until the end of the month, July 29th, but we decided to surprise her with an early birthday girls night. We all have a busy July and the end of  July starts the six weeks of birthdays for our little ones. So we needed to capitalize on our only free weekend for awhile! So last night Melinda and I went to pick Sarah up, she had no clue that we were coming to get her, thanks to her husband Elijah. We started our night out at Zio's for drinks and food. We all shared these Italian nachos that were amazing and also shared a three cheese fettucini dish too. All of it was so good. Oh and we had these to drink....

After our carb coma we took Sarah over to the movie theater to see Magic Mike. It was a really good movie. I mean it was naked men dancing! And Channing Tatum, how could one even come close to that! We were all surprised that there was a story behind it all too. We had no idea that we were going to get that added bonus.

I would have to say that the night was a success! By the end, we were all talking about our little ones and missing them as always!
