Random Weekend

This has been on huge hodgepodge of a weekend. It started on Friday which was my day off. I spent the day at the spa getting pampered and relaxed. It was my mother's day gift and I enjoyed it fully. We arrived at 9 am and did not leave until 4. The day flew by too! It was so very relaxing. I came home to Braylon and mommy time. Saturday we woke up early and went for a run. I have been wanting to run all week but the wind here has been horrible. We were up early enough to bet the wind so I took advantage. After our run it was off to Gymboree and to feed Gramizes dogs. Once we got that out of the way we hit up the Correlas pool for opening day! The wind made it a tad cold but Braylon seemed to enjoy it. I am a little worried about the pool this summer. While Tanner and Audrey were being calm, Braylon was not. He would look at me and pivot and run full speed toward the pool. I was chasing him constantly! I am glad that he enjoyed the water. But I feel that I have my work cut out for me. Long gone are the days of sitting in the shallow end and watching him splash. I will be chasing him and trying to keep him from drowning. After the pool and naps for both of us we went to meet Colin and station one at Sonic for some dessert. And now today. Colin had an overtime so I am still doing the single mom gig. I am SO ready for it to be over! This stuff is hard. Braylon is not a bad kid by any means. He is a toddler. He is learning about his world and surroundings by pushing boundaries. And he pushes them hard. He did take a nice long nap and I put him to bed at seven thirty. I need the peace and quite. I am so ready for seven am tomorrow! I need a break!!
