Weaning

So, Braylon turned 13 months on Sunday. 13 months! I cannot beleive it. (In case you might be wondering I will be doing every three month updates now, instead of every month. So if you want to mark you clanders that will be December, March, June and September). Anyway, I am trying to wean the little man. I am under no idea that night feedings will end soon. I would love to make it to 18 months on that one. However, I am trying to get the day ones gone. Three months ago he was nursing all.the.time! It was exhaguasting for me. But now we are down to roughly three times during the day! All this happened because of all of the commontion and guests that were here for Braylon's party. When there is a lot going on he is not as interested in my boob. So Colin's brother Gabe's wife Rachel, did you follow that, told me to try to keep him at the imited times. It would be easier to not go back than to try to cut them out again. And that is exactly what I have done. He does get fussy and want it. He will pull down or up my shirt and tries to fondle me. But I have it down to he only nurses for naps and once in the evening when he gets really fussy. I am so glad that there is a light at the end of the nursing tunnel. I will not be nursing him when he goes off to kindergarten, fingers crossed! I can see the day when I can wear a regular cute bra and that I can get dressed without having to consider if I can nurse in it! Yay!

Oh in other very exciting news, Braylon is walking more and more! Tonight at Gymboree he walked all over! He did so good! I know that very soon I will be wishing for the days that he was crawling but for right now I am so excited. He is growing up so much and is becoming such a little man! I use to be sad when he got bigger or did things that showed him as growing but now I get excited. I am excited to show him and experience life through his eyes! Tomorrow on my agenda is the attempt to get a video of him walking... This will be a task for sure. I will get one posted by the end of this weekend though, so check back!
