| Waiting for the parade to start. |

| And with daddy. |
The parade was your typical small town parade full of boy scouts, kazoo players and old cars. I did not take many pictures of the parade because lets be honest, who really wants to look at those. But I will give you one....
After the parade we went to the store to get stuff to BBQ and went home for nap time. Then it was off to BBQ and to hang out with Pops and Grandma-ma and of course to have some ice cream. We choose not to watch or participate in fireworks this year. Almost half of the state is on fire and the other half could set on fire any minute. The state does not have the power to ban them (they are going to work on it the next legislative session) and so we, and many others in the state, did not engage in them to show our support for banning them in times of need. Overall, it was a long day and this is what a passed out baby looks like...Oh but our day was far from over...
At two am Braylon woke us up throwing up. he threw up three more times over the next 40 or so minutes. Earlier in the afternoon he had hit his head fairly hard. He cried and it was a little red, but was still the happy baby I have. Even when he was throwing up he would go back to playing, giggling and talking. No crying at all. Well, because of the head hit we decided to take him to the ER for some peace of mind. Turns out he is perfect and the head hit and throwing up were two unrelated incidents that happened on the same day. He was given some anti-nausea meds and then sent home. The ER visit only took an hour and I am so glad that we went in. I know that I would not have gotten any sleep last night because I would have been so worried. By four thirty all of us were back in bed and fast asleep. Today, he seems fine. A little on the fussy side but nothing too big.
I hope everyone had a good holiday weekend.
