Laramie, WY

Last week I spent the night away from Braylon for the first time. Well, it was more like four nights away. The beginning was hard, but I was busy non-stop. I also made some amazing friends and contacts.

The plane ride there was less than thrilling. I am NOT a fan of flying. I have a real fear and truly hate it. However, it must be done. On the second plane to Laramie (ABQ to Denver and Denver to Laramie), we flew on the worlds smallest plane. It did not even have a post 9/11 security door. The pilots doubled as the flight attendants and every time some one sneezed they had to manually re-calculate the weight if the plane in order to figure out altitude and speed. Another fun thing was that I could hear everything in the cockpit from my seat! There was this lovely alarm beeping noise that made me believe that the plane was going down every time I heard it. Needless to say I entertained the other passengers.

So tiny!
In Laramie we had a lot of fun. We ate and drank a lot! I got this lovely pumpkin truffle from a chocolate store. I manage to save it until I got home, took a bit and then my two-year stole it and devoured it!

Part of the conference was a dinner with other attendees. We went to this prison where Butch Cassidy was house for awhile, early on in his career. We was let go for good behavior and then starting robbing trains. Upon release of the prison he had promised the guards that he would never commit a crime in Wyoming, and he never did! They had his pictures up, he was actually very good looking too.

After the prison tour, we had a dinner murder mystery where all of us had to act out roles at our table. I was not looking forward to this part but it actually was a lot of fun!

The conference was a good time and I survived being away form Braylon for the first time ever over night! He survived too! Colin on the other hand was excited for me to come home and to have some help with our wild child!
